Johnny began his Angels obsession at an early age, from always wanting to wear something Angels related every single day to school. He vaguely remembers being in attendance for Game 4 of the 1986 ALCS where Bobby Grich's walk off single catapulted the Halos to a commanding 3-1 lead only to remember his mom in tears the next day as the Angels ended up dropping game 5 and the series. But that didn't stop Johnny's obsession, continuing to always be at old Anaheim Stadium remembering the green and orange walls, white and orange trash cans and the way the ushers used to dress. Players like Jack Howell, Dick Schofield, Bob Boone, Doug DeCinces, Bobby Grich, Luis Polonia etc etc. The late 80's and 90's were a real tough time to be an Angels fan but the failures and mediocrity of season after season made it the much sweeter for Johnny when the Halos finally won it all in 2002, "Being in attendance for game 5 of the ALCS and games 2 and 6 of the World Series are the most memorable moments of my life next to my sons birth"
Johnny till this day bleeds Angel Red, he is a amateur collector of Angels memorabilia, his collection of vintage Angels/Halos magazines is quite impressive. He also has an Angels Podcast that has been a work in progress for about 2 years, but has recently added a Co-Host in Daniel Garcia and has been picked up on iTunes. You can catch Johnny at many Angels games on a semi regular basis and you can bet your butt that he hardly ever misses a game on tv.
